About Kirna Zabete
Kirna Zabete, retail fashion mecca at 96 Greene Street in New York City’s SoHo, opened its doors August 1999. The upscale lifestyle store was a new retail concept casually blending luxury items in every category: clothing, jewelry, home, baby, pet and candy. We wanted to offer a fresh shopping experience in a climate where upscale multi brand shops were scarce. Co-owners Beth Buccini and Sarah Easley believed, “If we build it, they will come.” And come you did! Top fashion editors, celebrities, stylists and elite shoppers from all over the world have made Kirna Zabete a top destination.

At Kirna Zabete, we are known for our creative edit of the best runways and for “above and beyond” client services. At www.kirnazabete.com the service continues. “We want our online customer to feel like she is walking into our SoHo store: she smells the candle we are burning, hears the tunes we are spinning, sees the colors and shapes of our products and is transcended into fashion utopia” says Sarah.

About Kirna and Zabete
Sarah = Kirna, a college nickname that means nothing but stuck. Beth = Zabete, a French nickname acquired during a semester in Paris where she was the teacher’ s pet. They met during their first week at the University of Virginia, where they tied for “best dressed” in their class. They also became best friends, joined Kappa and lived in the sorority house. Sorority life was a little too girly for them, so they went to Paris. After graduation they both headed to New York City. Sarah worked for French designers Christian Dior, Ines de la Fressange and Christian Lacroix. Beth worked for fashion magazines, first at Mirabella, then New York magazine as a fashion editor. They learned about the very, very “glamorous” world of fashion.

Finally, at 27 years old, they decided shopping in New York City wasn't good enough. In August 1999 they opened Kirna Zabete. Sarah and Beth are still mad about fashion, so much so that they decided to bring Kirna Zabete to you online. “Our clients have been asking us to open in Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, St. Barth’s…” says Buccini. Easley (as usual) finishes her sentence, “On-line seemed the most fair option. Same quality Kirna Zabete, but all access, all time zones.”

Now you can shop 24/7 at KirnaZabete.com, the premiere luxury shopping site, and get the “dress fabulous feeling” from anywhere on the planet.
