In a tiny walk-up in Paris, Rose Repetto crafted her first pair of pointes for her son, the dancer and choreographer Roland Petit, then 23 years old. Ten years later, a young Brigitte Bardot requested a special pair of Repetto flats to wear in Roger Vadim’s 1956 masterpiece …And God Created Woman. Et voila! The first pair of Repetto ballerinas suitable for the streets was born. More than fifty years and one million pair of ballet flats later the Repetto name is synonymous with stylish comfort.
