About Beth Buccini
Kirna Zabête’s owner and founder Beth Buccini has always had an eye for exceptional style. From being named “Best-Dressed” at her Norfolk, Virgina high school to studying Art History and French Literature at the University of Virginia, Beth loved fashion and the impeccable curation that could make the perfect look. Of course, New York City was the place to be, and after interning for Mirabella Magazine, Beth became a Fashion Editor at New York Magazine where she helped dictate the hottest trends and discover the most exciting up-and-coming designers.
In 1999, after realizing that there was no great place to shop designer (SoHo was not the shopping hub it is today), Beth and her college best friend quit their jobs to open Kirna Zabête at its first location at 96 Greene Street and soon came to be known as the candy store for designer fashion. After nearly 15 years of success, Beth Buccini and Kirna Zabête started making some big moves. In 2013 the flagship location moved to a larger space at 477 Broome Street, and by the end of 2015 Beth had become the sole owner of her growing business. Then came a pop-up in East Hampton that did so well Beth decided to turn it into a full-time lease, and soon after, a third store in Bryn Mawr on Philadelphia's Main Line, a little jewelbox oasis of fashion in the suburbs that also happens to be close to Beth’s home in Chadds Ford where she currently lives with her husband and four children. In December 2017, Kirna Zabête opened its fourth store in Palm Beach, bringing a vibrant and luxury shopping experience to Florida's sunny clientele. Today, Beth travels between her four boutiques as a wildly influential force in fashion, using her fashion editor’s eye to curate the best edit of the best designers, worn by the brightest, boldest, and most stylish women.
